SEAN’S STORY
Sean is from Altadena, California and began playing basketball at the age of 3 while trying to keep up with his older brother. His love of basketball began there and only grew the rest of his life.
In high school Sean was always a decent player but never in a significant role that he was capable of playing in until his senior year. Sean’s senior year he was the team MVP, first team all conference, first team all-area and led the team to the CIF Southern Section Championship game.
Sean went on to play in college at Lake Forest College in Illinois. At Lake Forest Sean became the most decorated and accomplished point guard of all time. He led the Foresters to their first conference tournament championship in school history as just a sophomore. He holds the all-time assist record and is 3rd all-time in scoring. He also is 4th all-time in steals and 6th all-time in 3 pointers made. Along with that he was voted first team all-conference 3 years in a row. Sean then went on to play professionally in France where he excelled even more averaging 25 ppg, 8 apg, 3 spg and was voted an All-Star for his division and region.
Sean has been training for 3 years while playing at the same time. Sean is now excited to fully focus on sharing the knowledge and love he has for the game as an elite basketball trainer for the next generation.
Doubt Out Story
The origin of “Doubt Out” begins with Sean in his freshman year of high school. Despite the skill and talent that Sean had when it came to basketball there was always a mental hurdle and sense of doubt in himself that he had. Sean put in countless of hours to help eliminate the doubt that he had but no matter what he did it would not go away. As a smaller player in high school, Sean thought that he would not be able to compete with bigger players and would just assume that he was not as good as people. Crazy thing about this is that he was always getting a starting spot on a team and significant, meaningful minutes. Sean and his dad knew that he was capable of much more than what he was doing on the court and this is where “Doubt Out” began. Sean’s dad used to tell him just think “Doubt Out” before, and even during games. Understanding that Sean had put in the work in order to succeed and there was no reason to have doubt and overthink while playing. This reminder of “Doubt Out,” “Don’t think, just ‘DO” is what helped Sean overcome this mental hurdle, ultimately leading him to have a great career at Lake Forest College and accomplishing his dream of becoming a professional basketball player. Sean understands what it is like to be a middle school, high school, college and professional player, and knows that playing at any level, there is not only physical obstacles but mental ones as well. Sean wants to help the new generation of players through his elite training and help instill confidence in them and know that this training will translate to gameplay.
